Jones nahm sich selbst beim Spielen diverser im Nahen Osten gebr\u00e4uchlicher Musikinstrumente, in erster Linie Perkussion, auf und nahm Stimmen und Ger\u00e4usche aus der Region von alten Tonb\u00e4ndern oder aus Radiosendungen auf, die oft rhythmisch wiederholt wurden. Alle seine Aufnahmen waren prim\u00e4r live und wurden nachtr\u00e4glich bearbeitet und abgemischt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Music<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8222;All Muslimgauze music originates in my head, from this vacant lot. It travels down and out through my hands, using modern technology and old acoustic instruments, everyday recorded live, odd sounds , old recording machines.&#8220;<br \/>\n&#8211; Bryn Jones<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;The sessions would usually begin with Bry bringing in three or four DAT\u00b4s loaded with stereo rhythms, noises and voices. Some of it was a truck going by, or women wailing or gunshots and that would be cycled. He knew exactly what was on all these tapes and what he wanted off them.&#8220;<br \/>\n&#8211; John Delf (studio engineer)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Politics<\/strong><br \/>\nThe principle influence behind muslimgauze is the political facts of the middle east<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;&#8230;the political interest is the Palestinian situation, the Afghanistan situation, Iran, the Gulf war (the Iran\/Riq war) &#8211; those are the main three political pillars of the backbone of Muslimgauze&#8230;&#8220;<br \/>\n&#8211; Bryn Jones<\/p>\n<p><strong>Output<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8222;Work is constant, all the time. Just ideas. If an idea isn\u00b4t put out, i tend to find it affects the next idea coming along so it\u00b4s constant.
